How We Work
We take a deposit on pups that are born. You can visit and see Mum and her pups and be part of the growing up process.
We only have pups born on site, from parents we own.
We health check both parents in accordance with the recommended tests for the breed.
Our pups can only leave us after 2nd vaccination which is given at 10 weeks of age.
Our pups are fully health checked by our vet, they receive their first health check and vaccination at approx 7.5 weeks of age, then they are fully health checked again at 10 weeks and given their 2nd vaccination along with the kennel cough vaccination. No more vaccinations are needed for a further 12 months.
Our vet gives Kennel Cough Vaccination as standard.
The price of our pups includes both vaccinations and kennel cough.
Health guarantee and right to return, we underwrite all our own pups.
We offer a full re-home service if any life events change for our owners.
All our pups are the same price regardless of colour or sex.
We offer ongoing support, comprehensive pre owner documents so you can get organised before your pup arrives, and tips on training after you collect. Our support is forever and ongoing as much as you need us.
We do rehome our adults early, and we will update this page with any availability for re-home opportunities. The nature of our dogs is crucial for us, and many past pups have gone on to become school dogs & therapy dogs.
We do encourage our customers to visit (pending covid restrictions), so you can see our indoor nursery, pups and their mums and of course your litter and parents.

You need to complete one of our Enquiry Forms from our website.
We have a Priority Club for all those with personal recommendations or current past customers of Raffles or Humphries Poos. Please complete the correct enquiry form it is called Priority.
If we feel you are suitable, we shall add you to our “notify list” for your timeframe.
Once we have a litter born, for your timeframe, and a match, we shall notify you, by text or email.
You will see the litter born and Mum, at a visit or WhatsApp, and at this point we shall take a deposit of £250. This secures your place in the litter/pup.
Deposits are fully movable but non refundable.
You can if you wish move your deposit to a later timeframe/litter if something occurs to the current booked timeframe/litter or you feel you need to push back for any reason.
You will be involved as your pup grows up, either with visits or WhatsApp, this depends on your preference and any Covid restrictions placed upon us by law.
Pre-Pup Support
After your deposit is paid, we shall give you access to our support zones. You will be able to download your new puppy owners document, we cover feeding, crate training, toilet training, feeding and lots more. If you are a new pup owner, you will find this very useful and helps prepare you for your new arrival. When you collect your pup, we also do a full and informative handover and go over all paperwork with you. We do update our documents from time to time, and we will send by email, so always check your spam.
Owners Pup Support
When you collect your pup, we offer more information for training in our “How Do I” document, we are very experienced and available for support from the day you take your pup home too.
Ongoing Support
We offer support and advice ongoing, for the lifetime of your dog, so if you need any advice we are happy to help.
Re-Homing
If things change in your life unexpectedly we can help re-home your dog safely to another suitable family.
Our Guarantee
Our pups undergo not one but two full health checks before they leave us as we give both vaccinations. If our vet has missed anything at all, or something occurs that is not seen at two full vet checks, within 7 days, you can return your pup to us for a full refund, this is laid out within our guarantee.
We underwrite all our own pups, any good breeder would offer this.
Insurance
All vets do puppy checks and you can ask for your free 4 weeks free insurance, we strongly recommend you carry on with some level of cover for the life of your pet. We recommend you book a visit with your new puppy within a few days of collection. On top of any insurance, we have a full guarantee in place as mentioned above.
Deposits.
By paying your deposit for a pup from Humphries Poos, you enter into a contract with us and how we work and all our terms are made up from the information at our website and your deposit has secured your space within a litter. We will presume you have given great consideration to the responsibilities of owning a new puppy and are ready to move forward.
The deposit is non-refundable, but we understand life can have it’s unexpected challenges so your deposit can be fully movable if your timeframe needs to change for any reason.
Please ensure you have read all our information at our website. You will also receive your new puppy document when your deposit is paid, which is packed with vital information you need to know to make your plans for your new arrival.
